Teresa Kincaid

Teresa is a nationally board certified Marriage and Family Therapist, with advanced training in Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT). As an EFT Therapist, she provides treatment for couples and families needing to repair their relationship. She also works with clients on an individual basis who suffer from depression. postpartum depression and anxiety. Prior to entering private practice at Anchor Counseling in Spokane, Teresa worked with victims of trauma, abuse and neglect in out-patient and psychiatric hospital settings. She was a supervisor and therapist at a shelter for abused children. She served on the board of directors for Sacred Heart Children’s Hospital Foundation and is currently the regional leader for the National Willis-Ekbom Foundation. She facilitated a post-partum depression support group through Spokane Bloom and served on the board of directors for the Washington Counselors Association (WCA). She is a current member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT).
Teresa completed her undergraduate work at the University of Washington in 1986 and earned her Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy in 2013 from Gonzaga University.
